Welcome to DSA Oshkosh!
Founded in 2021, we are the Oshkosh, Wisconsin affiliate of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). Working jointly with other Wisconsin DSA chapters in Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, and more, we aim to promote and create a worker-run economy and society driven by the everyday needs of Wisconsinites instead of being controlled by the ruling class concerned with nothing but profit.
DSA Oshkosh believes that Capitalism is a system of exploitation that allows the ruling class to control and profit off the efforts of the working class. We aim to replace it with a system where everyday people and workers have a real voice in how workplaces, neighborhoods, and society is built and run.
DSA Oshkosh wants to create a better Wisconsin and world where everyone is allowed not only to scrape by or survive, but thrive. That starts with collective ownership of the entities and systems that dominate and guide our lives, including energy production and transportation. DSA Oshkosh wants a multiracial working class that stands together in solidarity to demand and affect change in the world.
